So you want your journey to be crisp and short, you can opt for this option, wherein you can opt for a flight to Bhuntar Airport, which is hardly one and a half hour away from Tirthan Valley. The tariff usually varies between Rs 3000 — Rs 7000 depending on the time of your booking. From the Bhuntar Airport, you can easily hire a taxi till Tirthan Valley.

How to reach Tirthan Valley By Rail:

If you want this trip to be a bit pocket-friendly, the best option is to opt for Indian Railways. Take a train till Ambala or Kiratpur. In order to reach Tirthan valley from Ambala, you further need to hire a taxi or take a bus that will take around 8 hours till Tirthan Valley. From Kiratpur, you can take a bus that will take around 7 hours to reach Tirthan Valley.

How to reach Tirthan Valley By Road:

One of the most convenient ways to commute till Tirthan Valley from Delhi is to take the air-conditioned Volvo Bus, which can be taken near the Imperial Hotel in Janpath at 6:00 pm. With one stop for dinner, it reaches Aut at about 7:00 am. From Aut you can easily get a taxi till Tirthan Valley.

Note: If you plan for a road trip with your friends and family, in order to reach Tirthan Valley with the most ease and fun is to start as early as 5:00 am from Delhi. This way you can reach Chandigarh at around 11:00 am. At Chandigarh, you can take a lunch halt and start off your journey towards Aut and you will reach at Aut by 5:00 Pm. And from Aut, it will take you another one and a half hour to reach your destination.
